New Japan Pro Wrestling airs on AXS TV on Friday evenings
New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) is the largest wrestling promotion in Japan and was founded in 1972. NJPW athletes use a "strong style" approach to wrestling, which includes forceful full contact and legitimate looking submission holds.
NJPW currently has a U.S. television deal with AXS TV to broadcast 13 one hour programs on Friday evenings. The current television contract will end on April 10, 2015.
