Born Jonathan Anthony Wisniski, he is better known as Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, the son of professional wrestler Johnny Valentine. Although Greg "The Hammer" Valentine wrestled for many wrestling promotions, including Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling (WCW), his longest tenure was with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 1975, 1978-1979, 1981-1982, 1984-1992, and 1993-1994 where he would capture the WWF Heavyweight Intercontinental Championship and the WWF World Tag Team Championship.
