Classic Matches: Hulk Hogan vs Bret Hart [Videos]

Many professional wrestling sources have confirmed that in the Summer of 1993, the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan was slated to face Bret Hart in their first ever one-on-one match up. According to Bret Hart, the match was to take place at the 1993 SummerSlam event in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

However, for whatever reason, Hulk Hogan preferred to lose the title to Yokozuna during the 1993 King of the Ring event. During this same event, Bret Hart won the King of Ring tournament beating Razor Ramon (Scott Hall), Mr. Perfect (Curt Henning), and Bam Bam Bigelow, in three excellent matches.

Years later, both Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart were major stars in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and had numerous interactions with each other, but only faced each other once on television in September 1998, with a surprise twist.

What would have happened if Hulk Hogan would have faced Bret Hart in the summer of 1993 for the World Wrestling Federation Championship?
