WWF Tag Team Championship Match: Owen Hart & The British Bulldog vs. Shawn Michaels & Stone Cold Steve Austin [Videos]

On Monday, May 26, 1997, in Evansville, Indiana, World Wrestling Federation (WWF) Tag Team Champions Owen Hart and The British Bulldog Davy Boy Smith, faced the tag team of Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Like many of the matches during mid-1997, this match was pitted as the Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Own Hart, Brian Pillman, Jim Neidhart, and The British Bulldog) verses everyone else in the WWF. During this time the Hart Foundation held four of the five major WWF Championship titles, setting themselves apart from the rest of the organization. As the lead up to the match showed, Austin and Michaels were unlikely partners but their shared hatred for the Hart Foundation untied them for a common goal.

Sid Justice's first run in the World Wrestling Federation [Videos]

Known as one of the most intense and serious professional wrestlers, Arkansas native Sid Eudy, also known as Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, and Sycho Sid, had successful runs in both World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Sid's had a major impact in the WWF as soon as he entered the wrestling promotion in late 1991, which culminated in his WrestleMania match against Hulk Hogan in April 1992. Soon after his match against Hulk Hogan, Sid left the WWF and wrestled the next few years with WCW and the Untied States Wrestling Association (USWA). Sid later returned to the WWF for a second run with the company, and held the WWF World Heavyweight Championship belt on two occasion in 1996 and 1997.
