The World Wrestling Federation (WWF) increased its national television exposure in the summer of 1984 by purchasing Georgia Championship Wrestling, which aired on Saturday in the 6:05 PM timeslot on the national cable network WTBS. The takeover was short lived, however when less than a year later, Vince McMahon sold his interest in Georgia Championship Wrestling to Jim Crockett Promotions, with the WWF airing their last episode on WTBS on March 30, 1985.
Hosted by Freddie Miller and Gorilla Monsoon below are segments from one of the last great episodes of WWF Georgia Championship Wrestling on WTBS featuring Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Andre the Giant, and Bret Hart.
