Former four-time AWA World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Bockwinkel passed away at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 14, 2015. Bockwinkel spent the majority of wrestling career with the American Wrestling Association (AWA), however he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. While in the AWA, he held the World Championship title for nearly five years, from November 8, 1975 to July 18, 1980. Bockwinkel was known as one of the best professional wrestlers of his
era, being raked #18 of the best singles wrestlers by Pro Wrestling
