On the February 14th edition of Monday Night Raw, The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) announced that he will be the host of WrestleMania XXVII on April 3rd in Atlanta, Georgia. The Rock stated, "After seven years...the Rock has come home." The Rock was the first third-generation superstar in WWE's history.

The 2/14 edition of Raw did a 3.1 rating and 4,761,000 viewers, which is a major disappointment considering the build up. The show did hours of 3.03 and 3.25.
